The Bahamas


In the Bahamas, ACCESO International provided post-secondary bursary support to youth of Haitian heritage in the early 2000s. Such assistance enabled life-changing educational opportunities for racially and economically marginalized youth.

Bolivia


In Bolivia, ACCESO International started work in 2001. We focused our efforts on supporting the Centro Integral WARMI in Cochabamba. “Warmi” is a Quechua word that means “woman”.

Canada


In Canada, ACCESO International has been providing school supplies to vulnerable children and youth in Ottawa since 2003, allowing them to have an easier start to the school year and attend with dignity.

Colombia


In Colombia, ACCESO International provided computer support for a primary school that served extremely impoverished children in the Aguablanco area of Cali in 2009.

The Dominican Republic


In the Dominican Republic, we support university students, libraries, a vocational centre, primary schools, playgrounds, summer camps and health education in Yamasá, San José de Ocoa and Consuelo.

El Salvador


In El Salvador, we have supported the post-hurricane reconstruction of a primary school in Canton Joya Grande.

Guatemala


In Guatemala, we support bilingual pre-schools in Sacala, Tioxya, San Lucas and Guatemala City.

Haïti


In Haïti, we support homework centres, summer camps, health education, and the post-earthquake reconstruction of primary schools in Verrettes and Port-au-Prince.

Honduras


In Honduras, we support high schools, primary schools, an orphanage, a day care, homework centres, dormitories, skills training centres, health education seminars and human rights workshops for children and women in El Progreso, La Lima, Monte Verde and La Esperanza.

Mexico


In Mexico, we have supported primary and secondary schools in Saltillo as well as summer camps, homework centres and playgrounds in Ayutla, Leon, San Luis Potosi and Guadalajara.

Nicaragua


In Nicaragua, we have sponsored computer training and human rights workshops for economically disadvantaged and physically challenged individuals in Managua.

Peru


In Peru, we support post-secondary students and health education workshops, and we have financed the post-earthquake reconstruction and replenishment of preschools and primary schools in Chincha Alta.
